Wish owners can mark a gift as purchased and add a receipt, order link, photo link, or thank-you update for supporters.
How GiftMe may make money
The first planned model is optional supporter tips to GiftMe. Later options may include premium tools, affiliate revenue, or carefully chosen partner offers.
What is public?
Public profiles show display name, photo, bio, and public wishes. Email, password, owner dashboard access, and private beta settings stay hidden.

Only invite people you trust with the beta link. The app is still being tested, so feedback matters more than perfect posts.

What testers should expect right now
- Contributions are demo/test records, not real payments.
- Password reset email depends on hosted Supabase email settings, so testers should still save their login.
- Uploaded photos are beta-friendly and may be replaced with stronger storage later.
- Gift purchase, refunds, disputes, and payouts are not real-money workflows yet.
- The best feedback is anything confusing, broken, missing, or hard to trust.

Terms of Use
GiftMe is a platform for creating and sharing gift wishes. During beta, users agree to use the app honestly, post accurate wish information, avoid fraud or harmful content, and only test demo payment flows unless real payment mode is clearly enabled.
Gift owners are responsible for the wishes they post, the stories they share, and any updates they provide after receiving support. GiftMe may remove wishes, accounts, or content that appears misleading, abusive, unsafe, or outside the purpose of the app.
Privacy
Privacy Policy
Public profiles can show a display name, profile photo, bio, public wishes, funding progress, supporter names if not anonymous, and purchase updates. Email addresses, passwords, owner dashboard access, and private account settings are not shown publicly.
GiftMe uses account, wish, contribution, image, and feedback information to operate the beta, improve the product, prevent misuse, and support users. Uploaded images may be stored with Supabase Storage. Payment processing and account emails may be handled by third-party providers such as Stripe and Supabase.

GiftMe is currently in private beta. Features can change, test data may be edited or removed, and some workflows may not behave like the final public product. Demo contributions do not move real money.
Testers should not enter real payment information. If Stripe test checkout appears, use only Stripe test card numbers provided for testing. Feedback is welcome through the Feedback button.
Payments
Payment & Refund Policy
GiftMe's planned real-payment model is free wish posting, payment processing fees on contributions, and optional supporter tips to help fund GiftMe. Tips are optional and do not count toward the wish goal.
Processing fees are charged by payment providers and may be deducted from contributions or added at checkout depending on the final payment setup.
When real payments launch, eligible gift owners may need to connect a Stripe account before receiving contributions. GiftMe does not plan to act as a bank, escrow service, or guaranteed gift purchaser. Gift owners are responsible for using received funds as described and sharing honest purchase updates.
Refunds, failed payments, disputes, and chargebacks will be handled through the payment processor and GiftMe's final real-payment rules. During beta, demo contributions cannot be refunded because no money moves.

For beta support, use the Feedback button in the app or reply to the person who invited you to test GiftMe. Include what page you were on, what you expected, what happened, and whether you were using desktop or mobile.
For safety issues, suspicious wishes, account problems, or payment confusion, send feedback right away. GiftMe can review beta activity from the owner dashboard and may remove content or accounts when needed.

User Responsibilities
Do not post private information such as home addresses, phone numbers, sensitive documents, or payment details in public wish stories, bios, comments, or purchase updates.
Supporters should review the wish, owner profile, and demo/real payment status before contributing. Public beta use is at your own discretion, and real-money contributions should only happen after final payment terms are published.
